She holds a BA from Flagler College and is pursuing her MFA from Florida State University. Her work has been Pushcart Prize nominated and is published in nearly a dozen journals and magazines.

When she is not writing, she is likely reading, listening to podcasts or audiobooks, obsessing over a new oddity or taxidermy, or volunteering in local and virtual literacy programs.
